It consists of a cylinder shaped cartridge with fanfold filter media between the beige ends. This long life filter can be washed by holding it under running water. Works perfectly and washes up just fine. My Windtunnel had quit suctioning even though I would rinse the filter often and thought that it was fairly clean, however, if you don't get down in the grooves, dirt builds up. With this replacement filter, the vac is working great again.

This filter may turn out to be ok but it bothers me that it was falsely sold under the Hoover part number. The Hoover part number was no where on the package. This is an aftermarket supplier with their own part number. The physical design of the filter is the same but the filter media looks different. My concern is that the filter material is not hepa media. Hepa is not mentioned anywhere on the packaging.

Not sure it is genuine Hoover. No packaging but it

Received this in the mail and surprised it wasn't from Hoover, but another brand. Owell, at least it works.
